The most magnificent thing happens during pregnancy - yes, you grow an utterly magical little being - but you also feel infinitely different. Eternally changed. And it is beautiful and amazing to capture it and how that change shines out of us, whether we realize it at the time or not. Every single mama who we meet who didn’t do maternity photos wishes in retrospect that she had simply because once those nine months are over you misssssss it a bit (ok maybe some parts of it, like those awesome wiggle kicks, the “what does this baby look like” curiosity and the sweetness of it all) in the most profound way and you may want to be able to look back on it and the way it changed your body fondly… and that is our job, to capture you. To try and capture that feeling and some of the magic. You gotta do it. Even if sometimes you just feel a little swollen and cranky (which is real too haha) - you actually look to everyone else so truly otherworldly because our bodies are magic! It’s worth it!
