Ms. M, Beautiful Like a Mermaid {Los Angeles Boudoir Photos}

This is from a backlog of blogs I'm just catching up on - I did this session a while ago but it never got blogged and it is so beautiful that I rushed to blog it today! This lovely lady is so exquisite - she always reminds me of a mermaid, probably because of her starfish tattoo and jewelry and long flowing locks (I love curly hair! Is it because my hair is straight that I adore curly hair so? Grass is always greener...). It is stunning how she transforms from a beautiful maiden into a total smoky vixen! We had so much fun doing this shoot - heart you Ms. M! xoxo

Music for the Boudoir... Post #2

So... a million years ago I was like - I'm going to post "Music for the Boudoir (Rouge)" all the time! Because if there is anything I love as much as boudoir... well, its really amazing music. Plus, great music at a shoot really gets you in the mood to pose up a storm (or shoot up a storm in my case!). So... I'm back at it. I swear. Okay, if you know me at all you know I get on major music jags and I can't stop listening to my current fave. And that current fave is the deliciously poppy La Roux. Absolutely endlessly brilliant songs, amazing to belt out in the car and totally perfect for feeling sexy at a Boudoir Rouge shoot. Every song is amazing. Every one! I love you La Roux! Maybe I can get Elly Jackson to pose for me? I want to capture that hair in silhouette... Enjoy the majorly cinematic and innovative video for "I'm Not Your Toy." xoxoxo -m

Riviera Magazine {Los Angeles Editorial Photography}

I've been photographing the lovely ladies, Sonja Rasula and Shawna Dawson of LA Street Food Fest, Unique LA, and Artisanal LA for a little while now, capturing them for different purposes. If you haven't checked out their respective endeavors, you should!!! Really cool stuff. Plus for all you Orange County peeps, Unique LA is coming to the OC with Unique OC! I love that they are sisters doing it for themselves (well, not really sisters, but you know) and they are promo and marketing geniuses, obviously. Anyway, gorgeous Riviera magazine did a piece on Sonja and used a Boudoir Rouge Image. Check it out below and you can find the whole issue here. Loves! - m

Ms. "G" is for GORGEOUS! {Los Angeles Pin-Up & Glamour Photography}

Beautiful Ms. G and I had an absolutely fabulous time doing this shoot - she rented the luscious styled apartment we offer as an add-on for sessions (for clients who don't want to use their home or a hotel - its the perfect option) and she was so enthusiastic and giddy, it was just plain contagious. I'm a notorious giggler and sarcastic humor-monger and we laughed and posed and laughed some more. Lovely lady really worked what her mama gave her! She was a blast to hang out with and she came super-duper-uber prepared (I instruct all potential clients to spend some quality time Vogue-ing in the mirror so they are excited and prepared for their session - it may sounds silly but people it WORKS and Ms. G is hot proof of it!). She also had the most amazing array of outfits, I was in Heaven helping her pick! Love love love it! Think this girl may have missed her calling as a super-model, right?!? Loved capturing these for you Ms. G! -m
